Has anyone upgraded their sights on their bodyguard? I have painted mine and it is a huge improvement, but curios what options are out there for an actual replacement upgrade? Pics would be great!

I changed to a set of Williams Gunsight fiber optic sights. They are very good and I have no problem recommending them. Way better than model paint. I got them from Brownells for about $50.

I had a set of Truglo sights installed by a gunsmith. They required a fair amount of fitting.

Thanks so much! Did you swap them yourself or have a smith do it?

I did it myself. It requires a small hammer and a brass drift punch. Better a real sight pusher tool but that is a big investment for just one job. Remember that the sights come off left to right and go in right to left and there is a captive spring underneath the rear sight that must be accounted for. It is an easy job but can result in some awful disfigurement (Hopefully to the gun and not your fingers!) if it isn't done correctly. If you don't feel comfortable banging on your gun with a hammer, then it's worth the 20 bucks or so to have a pro do it.

I installed Truglo Pro myself too and like them:

I also have the XS Big Dots on my original (pre-M&P) BG380 and like them. Installing them was not too hard, just need a padded vise, the aforementioned tools and maybe some emery paper in case the sights are too tight to drift in. Also heed the warnings above about the rear sight spring.
