    Is it a timing issue?

I bet it doesn't happen with cases in the chambers. The pins often let the star have a bit more slack, You might have a problem if you ever get in a gun fight with it and pull the trigger really really slow. I am in the crowd with the belief it was never intended to work at the speed of dirt...

    Possible Unicorn model 14-3 357 1972

Correct and that is exactly what one does with rod and pin. Model 53 22 Jets use the same length cylinder as the model 19 357s. In order to fit this 4" shrouded Jet barrel to my model 18 I had to take off enough material to turn the barrel in another 4 turns and have the front sight come up dead...

    Possible Unicorn model 14-3 357 1972

More like a 1/8" gap but any machinist can easily take enough off the back shoulder so the barrel turns in far enough to be able to get the gap correct or you can machine some off the face of the frame and yoke and that takes care of the shroud overhang as well as the gap

Does anyone else still use a Speed Wrench Driver?

Modified tools, I have bent wrenches to weird angles, welded on them, thinned both sockets and wrench rings, sliced a piece off a socket and welded a handle on it. You should see the spark plug wrench for my jet boat, Has a 351 Windsor bored and stroked to 408 with aftermarket aluminum heads...

Does anyone else still use a Speed Wrench Driver?

I have some speed wrenches and a brace and bit. All setting in a tote. You can get the same effect from a flex head ratchet, I also have some air ratchets, a 1/2 and 3/4" air impacts, but mostly I now use battery powered tools. I love the wobbly extensions. I mounted an electric jack on the...

    Basic vehicle tool kit?

I agree i forgot to mention the tire plugs and installation tool the sits in the glove compartments, I tube of rubber cement helps. Coat the plug and it will slide in easier and help it seal. One of my jumper batteries has a small compressor built in.

Just a little bit off, but I bought it any way.

Why do you believe it was originally a 32? Because the cylinder and barrel do not match the frame?

    Basic vehicle tool kit?

First you need to own a vehicle you can actually work on. I drive a 98 Lincoln Town car or a 97 Ford Powerstroke Set of combination wrenched, 1/4" and 3/8" socket set. 3/8 ratchet with 3/8 to 1/4 adapter, large, small and stubby blade and Phillips screwdriver, 10" crescent, medium sized channel...

    Interesting Scam

Sometimes when I am bored I have some fun with them I used to sell chain. They would hit me with their spiel, then I would hit them with "I am selling chain, I have it in 1/8 links up to links that weigh 100# each. I can provide it in lengths up to 500' long and anything over 100ft the first 10...

    Coke plant explosion

Many the dead RIP and the injured recover. My heart goes out to my brothers and sisters of heavy industry working there. I know the pain and anguish of losing coworkers at the job. Cokers are some of the dirtiest places there are. Most people have no clue as to what we do and the dangers involved

    38/44 HD 45 Colt conversion

Using there is no such thing as a "45 long colt" logic, also mean there is no such thing as a "triple lock" as it to is a made up title for the New Century. Get over it EVERYONE knows what a long colt is, grips are and everyone loves Triple Locks.
