    What weight do you use?

For me, the 180`s impact about 4 inches high offhand at 25 yds,; I like the hot 135 gr. loads. They are right on for me at that distance and are very accurate in my fullsize 40.

    folks,just got a mp9c with ct grips

Smith has long ago fixed the occasional problems that the early guns had, in my experience. I had one of the first ones made (an MPA prefix fullsize 40) that did have occasional light primer strikes and occasional failures to feed due to rounds impacting on the bottom of the feed ramp. Smith...

    Slight M&P mag problem

The 45 mags have changed to a new finish that is more rust resistant than the older blued mags. I have had some minor rusting on the older mags that were carried as spares next to the body but have had no rust with the newer ones. I`m not too concerned about it to be honest, they still work...

    Can't Decide Between M&P45fs or 45c

    Buying M&P Today

Congratulations on your purchase. I have had the fullsize 45 for a couple of years now with over 3000 rounds through it since. It is a great gun. I liked mine enough that I recently bought the compact 45. It too, is reliable and accurate like the fullsize.

thinking of going pistol for my next purchase m&p or walther p99...

If you want a .40 I`d get the M&P. The P99 in 9mm is one of my favorite 9mm`s but in .40 the one I owned had some functioning problems (FTF) and was not as easily controlled causing me to sell it and buy my first M&P, (with a few others purchased since).

Have all M&P Issues been resolved?

I have three M&P pistols, (9mm, .40, and .45 - all fullsize guns,) with over 8000 rounds through them combined with none of the problems mentioned. In my experience they are one of the best handguns available.
