Just found a 469, sn A8404xx for 325 in a local pawn shop. Don't know much about this model. Gun seems in good shape, clean bore, 95% finish but only one mag, no box. Just wondering if it's worth the price??

Was surfing the net today and found a Ruger Security Six, stainless, 2 3/4" barrel for----$300:)

I have 4 Maks, 2 Bulgy Military a Bulgy Arsenal and a EG. All great shooters that I'm hanging on to. As for ammo, not a issue, a couple of LGS's stock it regularly and there's always the net(and it's cheaper than 380)

I've read about the frame issues. Mine is solid, good to go. Seems like this happens when you use +p ammo in these.

Forgot to mention, it's a 4" barrel. The pitting has cleaned up with polishing, but not all of it.

I don't know a whole lot about S&W wheel guns, or wheelguns in general, but I happened across a Model 12-3 for $325 and took a chance. The gun is in overall good condition, tight lockup, seems to have been fired very little. However, there is some minor pitting on the barrel and cylinder, still...

Found a 469 at the LGS today, 330, out the door, with 4 magazines. Seemed fair to me, but I have to admit, I don't know much about this gun. Can you good folks tell me the good, the bad and just your opinions about this gun. Thanks

I just got mine today, can't wait to shoot it. Just wondering what's the break in period for this gun?

I just ordered one from Brownell's(in stock). I'm going to use it in my 2214.

New to forum; I joined because I found a 2214 at the LGS today and it followed me home. Seems like a real nice pistol, looking forward to learning more about it.
