I have a model 48 in need of a new barrel. Would a model 53 barrel work? I have a nice 4" barrel I plan on putting on it.

I have two 24-3s and a 624. If I can get a favorable swap, I may get it for the heck of it. Trying to trade off my long guns extras for nice Smiths.

Can't really tell, all I have to go by are some pics. Looks like a good job. Any guesses on a value. I may be swapping one of my old Winchesters for it.

I had heard of the first 25 engraved nickel guns, but this one is plain nickel plate.

Did Smith & Wesson produce any 4" nickel 24-3s? Got a chance to buy one but not sure it's original.

I do have a decent model 48, if only I could find a 4" full lug K22 barrel.

Rats, I was afraid of that. Would prefer a 4" 17 full lug, maybe I can swap for one somewhere.....

Just picked up a 4" model 53. Would it be possible to fit 22 mag. cylinder from model 48? I have all the parts available, just curious about the bore size.

I like the Auto Rim, shoot it in my 1917 Army. If I want to shoot hot loads and big bullets, I get out one of my Ruger Redhawks.

I like the gun, shoots great. Think I'll restore it and maybe fit an extra 45 colt cylinder to it. Since it's not collectible, I can do it up the way I want.

Not intending to sell, this gun has been totally sand blasted and finished matte blue. I have two other 1955's so I know how they look, just would like all to match.

I have a 45 acp 1955 target 5 screw in the S145XXX range. It has the W shaped mainspring, and a decent set of grips with a small chip. Gun in great shape except some idiot had applied matte blue finish. Should I have it restored, or leave it alone? Would like to return it to original condition...

Guns finally listed on gunbroker, bought a 39-2 and a model 52 to shoot. Both like new in box.
