cons. pair 39 no dash to shoot or not?

DO NOT SHOOT THESE TWO PISTOLS. Put them away, cherish them, share them - but DO NOT SHOOT THESE TWO PISTOLS!

That being said...don't shoot them. Get yourself a nice 39-2 and enjoy! They are not expensive, they are wonderful to shoot and not a bad carry gun either.

I too am in the "don't shoot them" camp. As far as what they're worth, only the market can determine that. Buy a really nice shooter to quench your thirst. In my experience consecutively numbered guns are a hard sell. There is such a limited market for them. On the other hand in would seem almost criminal to separate them. Quite a quandary you have there. As others have said, you have a "potentially" valuable pair there. If you don't have a lot in them, and you want to sell them, put a silly high price on them and watch what happens. Eventually Mr. or Mrs. Right will come along and make you an offer you can't refuse. Either way, if they truly are unfired since leaving the factory, don't shoot them. They've earned the right to stay that way! ;)

Are they steel framed guns. If so, their value would be much higher. Find a magnet!

I collect Ruger single actions, thought that it would be best place to get what I want. They are, indeed, alloy frame model 39 no dash pistols, I never claimed they were not.
