5906 PPC A few 5906 PPC PC were available at the S&W Sport Shooting Center last year. MRSP was about $2800 and sold at the store for about 2,225 with three 15 rnd mags. 124 grain subsonic load do best thru it. Shoots as good as anyone can.

My 5906 PC (PPC) takes the same recoil springs as a 5 inch 9mm 4506. On SW parts lists there is the factory and wadcutter springs, as a set or indivdual. The 5906 and 952 PC 9mms come with the wadcutter spring. This info was hard to get, but a call to SW PC revealed the secret. My problem is...

Ultra Dot's Match Dot is very nice.

I too thought the lanyard pin was the rattle. I removed mine and it still rattled. SW has told me it is the transfer bar to the firing pin. The rattle is louder on larger frame revolvers owing to an echo in the handle. They showed me the same rattle on several other revolvers in the show case...

The SW Shooting Sport Center has(had) a few 3" 1911 PC; at about 1800+. My snubbie is sexier!
