Yes, my Uncle passed away about 10 years ago. I just acquired it, & paid $0.00 for the little gem. (Thanks Dad!) I will contact S&W for history. There is a small "X" on the bottom of one of the grips. I sometimes wonder if that is a "notch"? Thanks to all for the input! Ty

Nope, no KSP on the side plate. There is a number stamped by their armorer on the frame above the trigger. Rather a long number and not lined up very well. 1969 it is. Thanks, Ty
