Can you tell me a fair price to ask for my 98% 986 revolver? My arthritis is getting so bad as I am having a problem pulling the triggger. I have about 30 moon clips and a holster, pluss demooner.(Screw driver type).
What are they bringing these days please ???
Thank you all in advance.
John
unclewheelgun I have been useing An old plastic tackle box myself and it works great. I also use a Rx bottlr that is just about the perfect size for the moon clips. I have a 986 7 shot and they fit well in the trays of the box all loaded up. If I can later I will get a picture of mine set up...
Saw a used Mod 63 .22 LR and it got thinking about a 3" as a fun gun. For those that own one, how do you like it? Any Problems at all worth mentioning ? The one I saw was way high in price, they were asking $695, but thought maybe I would try to search on out for a decent price.
Thanks in...
I have been shooting static steel with mine for about 3 years now. Seems to be fine for what I do. I have been using a 160 grain round nose over 2.0 grains of hp-38 with Federal primers. I have a green fiber optic on it, extended firing pin, and the mainspring screw backed out about 1 1/2 turns...
That carry on an empty chamber I believe from the day's of the single action handguns. If the hammer was banged on them there would be a discharge if there was a bullet in all six chambers. I always carried with an empty chamber even with the later model SA guns. These days I carry a semi auto...
I have a 986 9mm 5" bbl that I use for steel shooting. Most of the shoots I attend allow only 6 rounds in the gun so the 7th is an empty hole. When I attend larger shoots where there is no round limit I can load it for 7.
I love the 986, but after putting a green fiber optic front sight on...
I have them on my 986 round to square but. They are great folks to work with and there service is excellent. Mine are the Bonded Ivory look material with scrimshaw US Army Emblem. VERY SATISFIED
Can anyone give me the model number/numbers of a J frame .38 spl with a 4 inch bbl. I could swear that Smith made one other than the model 10. I don't see any new ones listed, but would prefer used any way.
Thanks in advance.
I do believe I have decided on the Vector Optics Sphinx with the green dot.
Thanks for the heads up on that one revolver ph.
Thanks for all the help to all those who helped.
John.
Thanks to all who have responded. I appreciate your help you are giving me. I have been looking on the net and my eyes are going in circles as i type this. Now, if I can make up my mind, all I need to do is find the best price. Hopefully I'll have one before I need it. LOL.
Thanks again.
