    All the SDxVEs I've seen are a matte finish. Mine has a matte finish to it.

    Welcome Ken. Glad you like the gun. The SD9 is my first handgun. I have no regrets buying this gun. There are people who change to the Apex trigger. I was thinking about it but now I might stay with the stock trigger.

    New pocket holster

    How well do these pocket holsters work with Blue jeans? The videos I see are usually with the guy wearing dress pants where the angle of the pocket is different than the angle of a blue jean pocket. The pockets of most blue jeans (like Levi or Lee) don't open as wide and dress pants do.

    SD9VE 16+1 ?? Or 15+1=16

    Like TriumphMan said, your magazine should hold 16. The last one is a B*tch without a loader. It will get easier to load the 16th the more the magazine is used.

    I purchased the granulate texture. A buddy of mine has then on his shield 40 and I liked how they felt. They have not come in yet so I don't have them on my gun yet.
