Went on Amazon for my birthday(yesterday) and I ordered me some happy-gun parts. We've been Prime members for years now and been real happy if any problems have cropped up to protect us and returns.

Ordered the "wide body take down plate", and a Stainless Guide Rod in 17# like stock.

Something that I haven't seen talked about on here, or I missed it, is I ordered a "rear slide cover plate" to dress up/replace the stock (plastic) rear slide plate.

It's made in metal and is anodized black w/laser engraved image of "Wolf howling at Moon". For only $18, I figured WTH, for that little personal touch.

Made by NDZ Performance and Amazon had many to choose from in either black or silver with different engravings for a nice touch.

I did the same on mine..I also added the Apex trigger kit. I chose the 20 pound version of the spring, and a US Flag for the back plate.

Which Talon Grips did you order? I put the rubberized Talon Grips on my SD40VE last week and love them.

L8R,
Matt

I purchased the granulate texture. A buddy of mine has then on his shield 40 and I liked how they felt. They have not come in yet so I don't have them on my gun yet.

I picked up a slide cover as well.

There's another company on Amazon, Molan Labe Engraving, that is putting out some nice magazine base plates. I had to pick up a Terminator.

I was thinking about getting this rear slide plate: [ame="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B017RSIH48/ref=s9_simh_gw_g200_i4_r?ie=UTF8&fpl=fresh&pf_rd_m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&pf_rd_s=desktop-1&pf_rd_r=1AN7J6S9KTRZ9X04NSR7&pf_rd_t=36701&pf_rd_p=2079475242&pf_rd_i=desktop"]Amazon.com : Silver Rear Slide Cover Plate For Smith & Wesson S&W SD9 SD40 VE 9mm .40 Cal Panda with Guns : Sports & Outdoors@@AMEPARAM@@http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51ddovVP7XL.@@AMEPARAM@@51ddovVP7XL[/ame]

Perhaps we need to sign up Amazon as member; have discounts offered to us; I can easily see a corporate logo on our board as a supporter. Gee. Possibilities are rather limitless. Open the mind which opens the wallet.

What sites are those you have on? I like the red and green.
Thanks, those are TruGlo Fiber Optic sights. I like them too. It's very easy to pick them up when shooting and a huge improvement over the factory sights. I picked mine up on sale awhile back from Midwest Shooting Supply for around $40 (I think, it's been about a year) but here's an Amazon link for about $55. Any sights that fit an M&P9 will also fit our SD9VE.

I got my slide cover installed along with the Talon grips.

That slide cover looks as good as I thought it would. My cover has been delayed for a couple days. It's shipped from seller but held up in transport.

That grip pad cover looks to give nice hand hold if hands sweating.

May need to think about it for mine.

I like how it turned oyt. I'm look forward to shooting with these grips. This is the graphite textured. They also offer a rubberized.
