Somewhere on the forum someone made mention that the Colt hard rubber grips for these models that had "1892" or "1894" cast into them in place of the "COLT" normally seen were rare. Is this true? And if so, how rare? Value??
One of my neighbors has one with these grips on it. I'm not into Colts, but maybe it's worth my while to take another look.
