Got referred by another member here to check this forum out. We have a growing number of 15-22 owners in my part of the woods because of the growth of what we call "tac-rifle" here in the PNW. And at our particular club, the .22 open rifle division is a big favorite. So of course a lot of 15-22 owners.

Anyhow, I've had mine now since Dec? Awesome platform, and my favorite AR platform dedicated .22 out there. And I've found it to be very easy to work on. Anyhow, glad I found the forum as I also shoot a M&P Pro for a pistol, but here's my 15-22a1:

- 15-22 A1
- Rainier Arms XTC Comp
- Rainier Arms Evolution Rail 12"
- Magpul Moe+ Grip
- Magpul BAD lever
- Magpul STR stock
- Geisselle Super 3 gun trigger
- Bushnell TRS-25

Hey Rainier, nice 22.
I deal with Rainier Arms quite a bit, I noticed the sticker.
They heavily modified a pre ban Colt AR15 for me.

Where bouts is this club you mention?

I hope to make it down the Champion Arms this morning when they open so I can shoot my 22 in there.

Hi Corey,

I shoot at Champion Arms every morning when they open before work. The club we host these matches at is at Renton Fish and Game. Every 4th Saturday of the month. And they host them also at Custer, every 2nd Saturday of the month.

Welcome to the forum. Nice, functional rifle. How much work was it to get the BAD lever in there?

Not much at all. I locked the body of the lever on my vice. Then I heated it up with a torch, and bent the arm over about 3* or so and it clears the receiver perfectly now.

Cool, I did not get down there Saturday.
I do drive by there though from one jobsite to another every morning a bit before 10 am, so I see a few cars there waiting for the store to open.

I have heard of the Renton place, but have not looked into it yet.

I am hoping to get down to Champion this coming Saturday morning when they open.
If you see a silver FJ Cruiser in the parking lot there, that will be me.

Like the fact that you were able to get the Magpul BAD lever to fit. I've been waiting for the version for the M&P 15/22 to come out, but if it doesn't soon, I will be getting the BAD and doing the mod as well. All my AR's have the BAD and I love the design...

Sounds a lot like my Steel Challenge/Ruger Rimfire AR15-22PC.
I also use the S3G trigger, with a set of JP springs, and so far no light strikes at all.
The PC model comes with a Vltor stock which I left on and added a Vltor recoil pad (better grip than bare stock), but I got the tool to take the polymer foregrip off and replaced it with the longer, smaller diameter alloy (1.62") modular one Nordic makes for their .22 uppers.
I have a Nordic Tactical model comp on it.
Currently I use either a TruGlo Dual red/green reflex sight or a FireField Tactical 30mm 1-6x30 FFR scope.
I am likely to be buying an M&P 9 Pro also soon for USPSA production and IDPA SSP. One of my buddy's daughter is one of the serious up and coming junior shooters in USPSA and he bought her one to try out. But she likes the Glock 17 her dad tuned better so he is selling me the M&P. It will replace the HK USP-C I currently shoot in IDPA. I only shoot Open and Limited in USPSA so having a Production gun would give me another option.

Mine now has one of the Magpul BAD levers also I just put on yesterday. I decided to skip the torch and just straighten the arm out in a vice. All I had to do then was Dremel a little bit of the front side of the pad on the end to completely clear the trigger guard area.
I have been buying and trying out various useful options to see what fits the S&W. Anything that does not I am saving to put on my 3-Gun AR that Precision Firearms will be building soon.

I really wish I can swap the safety out on it. I like M&P's, I have two Pro's. The other one is my back up and lives on my wife's side of the bed with an X300 for the things that go bump at night.
