Hi Mike. I bought my first firearm ever last November (an M&P 9 full size). Followed that up with buying the M&P 22 in January. When I started, I didn't know all that much about guns, ammo, how to handle, etc. I didn't know the difference between centerfire and rimfire either. Since then, I have read a lot on this forum, watched numerous UTube videos, joined our local range, and took the NRA basic handgun course. And I've gone to the range and practiced. The people I've met at the range have been some of the nicest people and very willing to help. I'm no expert, but I've learned a lot in the last few months. The people on this forum are a great source of information. Hang in there, this stuff is fun (and a little addicting!).
