Wheeler screwdrivers

I can't express how disapointed I am with Wheeler and doubt if I ever buy anything from them again. They went with the cheap china made **** and I got suckered. First clue of not buying them should have been after watching Larry Potterfield being a barker for them.
Up here they were on sale for $120.00 which I would have no issue with if they were decent.
Going to go with the Brownell Magna Tip 58 piece set though they will be about $225.00 or so by the time I get them shipped and be several or more weeks to get. Hopefully they won't look like these Wheeler ones!

carrier I've got Magna Tips on my bench and have used them professionally twenty-five or more years and other than my custom ground tools these are the best fitting and easiest/safest to use. But as I said before you don't need fifty or more bits. I routinely use no more than four for all of my revolver jobs. In fact Brownell used to sell a small MagnaTip five or six tip set for revolvers. This would be a great way to go then you can buy additional tips as needed down the road. BTW I like the shorter or stubby handle over the larger one. I have both but I personally have better control with the shorter handle

Regards

I appreciate your reply but because of our Canadian dollar being at 70 cents or so it is better to take the hit and get as much as possible on one order as we get bent over on shipping costs.
I just placed a order for the 58 piece set with Leo handle and a few other items. I was originally going to go this route but saw the Wheeler set and told the wife to get it for Christmas. I should have known from passed experience that any tools from China are ****.

You're going to like the Brownells set, and the LEO and stubby handle are the way the go. Buy once, cry once...

I sure hope so. I didn't know what the Leo handle was but seems to be a shorter shank and smaller handle.
