College football pkayoffs

This was always a 2 horse race. The whining over who was #4 didn’t matter one bit.
Honestly, it’s really been a one horse race, but Clemson May give bama some fits. Maybe.

There really wasn’t any solid teams past #2 this year.

Ohio State wanting in was a joke. The beat down by 6-6 Perdue? I’m an Auburn alum and fan. The Auburn team was bad this year. That 56-7 score over Perdue AT THE HALF was absolutely ugly.

I also think the Heisman folks need to reconsider their choice.

It would be nice to see some form of bracket like NCAA basketball (just not 64 teams); maybe 12 or 16 top teams. Adds a few more games, which adds more TV money to the schools, and MAYBE one of those teams will have the game of their lives beating a #1 or #2 before the final game.

Something like FCS playoffs but then there’s a big money issue with bowls and scheduling.

I like the Big 12 conference play.

There are three OSU teams that come to mind. Missouri played a good game against Oklahoma St. Old Big 8 and then Big 12 rivals. It was fun to watch.

Agree 100%. Ok State v. Missouri was an excellent game. My hat is off to Oklahoma State. All three of the ongoing bowls right now with SEC teams are excellent as well. UCF came to play but I am afraid half of each of the teams are going to get ejected for targeting and/or fighting!

What a game!

My hat is off to UCF—they played LSU to the wire. I have a sinking feeling UCF would have put a whipping on the Irish. But of course any system designed by man is flawed.

If I was AD at one of the big power 5 schools with an over-paid, under-performing coach, I would be taking a hard look at Josh Heupel.

The last two days have given me my football viewing's money's worth. I especially enjoyed the Military Bowl where Cincinnati beat VaTech 35-31.

I am an OU fan an I have heard no one make any of the wild statements that you are making. Give me some exact quotes and names or back off a little. Alabama is the better team and most fans knew that before the game.

Hats off to Texas too!

Texas played an outstanding game and put a whipping on Georgia—the game was nowhere as close as the final score indicated. I think Texas football is back and that was the best game they have played since winning the national championship.

Hard to believe there is only one game left this season.
