VERY Interesting...A 13 round 6906 magazine!

What was the OEM capacity on 59 mags?

I picked one up somewhere--well, figured it was a 59 mag, "lazy &"
between S and W on floorplate--and it holds 15. It
has no indents at lower end of tube.

The 59 mag appears dimensionally identical to
a Beretta "92 series" mag, which hold 15.

The Model 59 and 459/559/659 came with 14 round mags with a stamped steel magazine base. Third gen 59xx pistols came with a 15 round magazine that had a plastic base plate. Internally, the difference is the follower. Putting a 59xx follower into a first or second gen 14 round magazine will give you a 15 round magazine.

Roger...I have one of the two-legged prong followers, but the
very plain, stamped, lazy-ampersand base plate (aka
basal mesoplaten :D) might be an earlier issue.

15 is better'n 14, but still the prize goes to--Ramline, with
the constant-force spring, for eighteen in same length tube.

Before I switched to the orange followers, I used 469 followers to the same effect. They work just as well, so I'm not sure why I bothered to change to orange, other than to match the new orange springs.

I have 3 of those Ramline 18 rd mags, new in bags, for my Ruger KP-95DC. They SUCK. Really weak springs. And Ramline's warranty is useless. Lifetime means until they decide to abandon the product line. No offer of ANYTHING. *******s.
