I still have a Mark I from back in the late 70's I believe. Carried it at work off and on. They are great knives. Serial number 012257.

Kind of you to post the link and other information regarding these knives. I have one of the boot knives and I think both of the origional Mark knives, now all I have to do is find then which should be easy as all my knives and bayonets are stored in a rather well stocked file cabinet. Both of the larger knives both have black handles with black leather sheaths..The boot knife has a dark grey handle and a black boot knife sheath,. So be interesting to see when they were made. Frank
