Sig P322

I’ve watched a few shill videos on it today. Looks interesting and really addresses a lot of the disappointment that came with the Glock 44. If it really hits the market at $400, and is reliable I think they will sell a ton of them.

Cool. At first I thought it said 232. There was a short lived .22 232 in the Early 2000s. Not sure if it even made it to shelves, hard to find anything on them.

I was hoping for a new Sig 22lr pistol.. but sadly, I wanted it to match the P320 for practice, holster compatibility etc... feels like they missed an obvious opportunity... for now I am a pass... I have plenty of 22's...

Well, I’ll let you guys know the full review once I get mine in a few days. I got an email from Smokey Mountain Guns and Ammo a few hours ago saying they had a few on hand, price was $399 plus tax w/free shipping. Figure with my $10 transfer at my local FFL it was worth a go.

I have a Keltec P17 and Glock 44 but felt this is going to be one of if not the best Rimfire pistols made in the last few years. It addresses a lot of the shortcomings of my other two plinkers like capacity, optics cut, manual safety, build materials etc. I may have gotten a lemon P17, but I just can’t stand how fickle it is with ammo. The slide sometimes doesn’t lock back on a few of my mags. And worst of all, the barrel leads up with any ammo I shoot through it within 100-150 rounds. Barring any dire issues with the P322, I will be moving my P17 on to recover some costs. I’ll be keeping my Glock 44 because it has been reliable and my wife and her friends shoot it well. I just wish magpul or Glock would come out with a larger capacity mag. Thought the pro mag I have for it has been reliable (gasp) but it’s a PITA to load.

SVT please do report out on how your production gun runs. I’d love to hear from a real person. I think the 322 has a lot of potential, anymore I’m just real cautious on new firearms, cars, anything as manufacturers seem to worry less about testing these days. I’ve heard good things about the p17 and the Taurus TX22, the Sig seems like a perfect competitor with both them as well as the FN 502 and Glock 44, but offering all the right features out the gate.

Same, but I was hoping for a P365XL size...

The 322 looks like it's own thing and a match to neither, so no point in replacing/supplementing the M&P .22 Compact, which does just fine.

If you want to shoot .22 from existing Sigs, how about a .22 Sig X-Change kit? Just switch the slide and mags and you've got you "regular" Sig only with little bullets.
I have one for my P250 plus for a Sig P220 (.45 & .22) and had one for a P226 I subsequently sold. I know they were around for the 320, but are hard to find.
