title says it all. i'd like something that looks decent but also give some relief from this thing beating me up. i use altamont falcona grips on my 342pd, curious if someone knows of something similar.

Funny that you made this thread, I bought a 329 a few days ago and my x frame hogue tamer grips come in tomorrow. Haven't shot the gun yet, but I'm gonna switch over to the hogue grips before I do. I too was curious about grip options and that's where I ended up

Are you using the factory wood grips or the rubber grips? Mine came with both and I just used the rubber grips and didn't have any problems

thanks for the response

thanks guys, I'm currently using some rubber grips it came with, pachmayer i believe, not in love with them though. hoping to find something hybrid like the altamont falcona grips.

I had the x frame grip on mine. It is a little large for my med sized hands. They are also too large for carry imo. I picked up some pachmayr diamond pro grips. Covers the back strap and is more compact. Haven't taken it to the range yet.

The factory wood grips are for showin' & I find the factory rubber grip's back strap is too hard & pointed.

I like the Pachmayr Diamond Pro grips for chootin' at the range.

(I swapped out the Ti cylinder for a 3.65 oz heavier Ss cylinder.)

Fit is everything. It doesn't matter whether they are wooden or rubber, or whether the backstrap is covered. Fit to YOUR hand is what counts. I was ready to sell my 325PD until I tried Hogue finger-groove N frame RB grips. They happened to fit very well and engaged my pinky finger to aid in recoil control. Obviously, they may not fit you, but then again they might. Pachmayr Compacs were also good, but much heavier.

I put a set of pachmayr decelerator grips on mine over 10 years ago as I wanted something compact yet would be comfortable enough to shoot as my woods gun.

I just bought these wood Pachmayr grips off Amazon. Well made and fit good.

They are Pachmayr 63040 Renegade Wood Laminate Pistol Grips, Smith & Wesson N Frame, Rosewood, Checkered
