I call this a bullseye.....

I have a big bullseye match coming up in Harrisburg. I was function testing the magazines for my High Standard Supermatic with different brands of ammunition because with some brands of ammunition the slide doesn't go fully into battery. So I put 5 rounds each of .22 shells (Federal, Remington and CCI) into separate magazines and test fired them. I wanted to see if any sight changes would have to be made prior to the match. So at 15 yards with 2 hands and a green dot sight this is what I got. It doesn't look like I will have to move the sights.

This is when you know it is time to pack up and go home. Shot with a Winchester 52D with a 25X Lyman Super Target Spot scope at 50 yards. I shot from left to right on this target (it is a 50 foot NRA Small Bore Target. Maybe the bench number had something to do with it!

My gosh, that is consistency. I can see why you packed it in though. The group is starting to drift just a little.:D

This thread inspired me to try a little standing, one-handed shooting at today's range session, in addition to running some programs. Lately, I have been working on toning up the small muscles in my shoulder, arm and hand to help with some old man shakes. It seems to have helped a little. These are not anywhere like I had at my peak, many years ago, but not horrible. The right hand only group was fired at 25 yds. and the left hand only was fired at only 15 yds. Shooting left handed without a sight adjustment does show a significant shift in the group impact.

Nice group with the left hand!

On the right hand target that one in the '8' ring is a 'flyer' and definitely due to a defective round.

PS: That's pretty good free standing at 25 yards if you ask me.

PPS: NICE GUN!
