Have been an ambulance driver for our rural ambulance service since retiring three years ago. Decided to get EMT certification and successfully passed the NREMT test yesterday and am now a Nationally Certified EMT.

Class was very rewarding with many encouraging instructors and students. Looking forward to serving our community!

Just remember when doing chest compressions you can use the song "Staying Alive" for your rhythm or "Another One Bites the Dust", your choice.
Oh, let’s not go there. There is a lot of dark humor in the business. Some consider it a coping skill. The general public would probably not appreciate the “humor”

And, thanks to the OP. I’m certain that I would not survive long starting at his age.
