My son surprised me with an 29-2 I sold him on the cheap a few years ago. It had some scattered fine pin point pitting but was otherwise nice. He visited with Bobby Tyler and had his crew at Tyler Gun Works make it special. They did a great job. He presented it to me at Shootist Holiday yesterday. I was stunned. The boy did good. TGW is a great outfit to deal with.IMG_3111.jpegIMG_3110.jpeg

thats a beautiful gun 👍

Tasteful engraving! A light sweep of it to add some elegance but not so as to be ostentatious. Perfectly done!

I would be tempted to get a good shoulder holster & carry it once or twice a month. A belt holster would let it get banged around on furniture & railing. This gun would feel right at home in a leather shoulder holster.

You have quite a son! The revolver looks fantastic. Tell me about the grips.

Bobby Tyler of Tyler Gun Works has reproduced Deacon Deason Bear Hug grips. They are OEM on the new Mountain Gun S&Ws. He also makes them for sale. This set he made for this project in American Holly.

You have a Great son with impeccable taste. What a tremendous gift to a worthy dad. Let him know how grateful you are to have such a son.
