I wanted to know whether anyone 3D printed a frame for the SVT pistols that takes Glock magazines? I have the parts for the SVT-40 and I want to know whether anyone did it and how it worked out.

The SVT-40 was a Soviet long arm... Now, SCT makes Glock-clone G17 & 19 sized frames that take Glock mags and slides: why are you asking about this on this forum (S&W SD and Sigma Pistols)?

Jus' wonderin'...?

He's referring to the SD-40VE pistol that S&W came out with after the Sigma. I also have the .40 cal parts and I printed a frame to take Glock .40 mags. I haven't tried assembling it yet. I used PET-G instead of PLA. I printed a frame from PLA and left it in the hot car and it distorted. This why I used PET-G that may be less likely to warp in the hot car in summer.
I tried to modify a P-80 frame but it didn't work well and I gave up after I found out that I could print a frame.

The SW9 and SW40 came out right after the Sigma....The SD's were just a little bit after that I believe.
