I recently picked up these combat stocks that had gone orange (varnish turned yellow over time), so I stripped it off, gave it a light sand, and treated them with tung oil. I originally was going to sell the set as I bought 'em for a garage sale price, but I remembered how uncomfortable the Mountain Revolver was to shoot with the Ahrends boot grips I had on there. They look good but probably would be better off on a .357 or .45ACP snub. So on they went!
