Nice. Well it is a 45acp. What more encouragement do you need? Have no idea on value. Have three 625s but they're not from the mountains . Ones from Thunder Ranch don’t know about the others.

1. All wheel guns should be .45 caliber.
2. The only cartridge useful in a 4" barrel is the .45acp/AR.
Get yourself some .45AR cartridges from Buffalo Bore.

Don't be shocked when it's way north of $1500, more likely $1700. I want one really badly, but not for the price of 2 625-8s.
Only one I would want would have to be in .45 Colt......

I enjoy my 625 a lot. It feels good to shoot 45 ACP out of a revolver.

15-1700? Holy smokes, this one is selling for 1100. Figured I’d ask here since I can’t get a gauge on cost from the other sights. GB,GI etc.
There’s not many 625 MGs in 45 acp out there, certainly less common than the 45 colt variant… unless they’re next on the Lipseys MG list, wouldn’t surprise me.
Thus, 1,100 is VERY reasonable ask on that gun, even better with box and docs. As point of reference I had one of classifieds here that went to another forum member who was happy to have it above 1,100, just the gun.
For my purposes the 625pc is similar enough at less cost that it is my preference. From a collectibility standpoint the MG is more valuable.
If you have the money and want it, get it. You likely won’t see another at that price.
I’ll also add, while not pretty, those hogue rubber grips would have been factory configuration for the 45 MG.
At $1100 that would be pretty tempting if it checked out ok, or with only minor issues. Boxes don’t do much for me, except create the nuisance of trying to store them properly. If that is not one of the SA Commemoratives, I’d probably be a buyer.

Assuming it's in good shape that gun is underpriced. Mine is proving to be about the most useful firearm I have here on our small ranch. With the skinny barrel it is light enough to carry around all day; quick to draw; that big, fat, heavy bullet hits hard but recoil is manageable; the bullets are subsonic so don't pierce the eardrums the way a magnum does when you need to jerk the pistol and shoot at a pack rat, coyote or other varmint. And I've got an old Star reloader so it's easy to keep the thing fed. You need to buy this pistol. Immediately. If you do not your wife will leave you, your kids will despise you, your boss will fire you, we will shun you, and your dog will ignore you.

inspection criteria’s that would be gone.
I think the 45ACP is unique and I reload for that
caliber, I would definitely buy it for my collection.

In my mind, it depends upon your intent and budget...if I still lived out West on my ranch, I wouldn't leave the house without that revolver!...but it would be a purpose driven platform...as a "safe queen" it would be a waste IMO...even as a "truck gun" it would be a shame...I believe the whole point of that model is to be a "working" platform...but everyone's opinion will be different

It’s not the rarest but still have look hard to find one. Be better if it has the box or paperwork but 11 seams fair.
Is the Springfield Armory commemorative in this price range also? I found one at a gunshop for $400 because they said it wasn't considered a Mt gun. To me it is a mountain gun just with the SA marking on it. It is a joy to shoot and very easy to carry. Not selling just curious if it is or is not a MG.

All mountain guns were marked on the barrel old/new ones. They feature a tapered 4” barrel which is the most noticeable feature. The original series I feel were more of a working gun as they had a positive grip rubber composite and the new ones are smooth wood profiled by Tyler gun works with their signature bear hug grip.
