Robertsons Trading post sells these aftermarket KCI mags for a lot of the 59 and 69 series pistols. For $29 not a bad price at all. Just wondering if anyone has tried these as anything other than a range mag. They worked for me, but until I get more data points, I will limit them to range only.

My only experience with KCI mags is in a Live Free Armory 9mm. They have worked fine with no issues

I've bought/used KCI mags for a Glock years ago. Some worked for 3 or 4 range sessions and then the springs failed to the point of not being able to raise the last few rounds up to feed into the chamber. Others never, from the first use through multiple parts replacements reliably fed ammo from the magazine into the chamber. After replacing springs and followers with factory parts I'd hoped they would work but they didn't. The ones I bought ended up only being good for the opportunity to run malfunction drills.

The ones for the S&W handguns may be better than that. But it won't be me trying them.

I think Mecgar makes magazines for some of the older S&W pistols. Mecgar makes factory mags for several of the worlds biggest handgun makers. They're all I buy for my CZ pistols.

Page three has 10, 15, 17 and 20 round magazines for the 5900 series pistols (5900, 910, 915, 659).

I've had good luck running KCI mags in my Glocks but I did have 1 yesterday the spring was a little weak. Not a horrible thing I bought these just before COVID hit so they had lasted a while. I have some replacement springs, 6-pac from Brownells that worked fine. No issues with the followers, not sure if the followers that came with the springs fit.
I have a couple of G21 style KCI mags I bought last year, no issues whatsoever.

I have had a few for Glocks over the years. Once in a while you get one that has some “flashing” left over from the manufacturing process, but other than that, they work OK. Dunno if I would take them into combat, though.
