Don't forget your rolls of chain link fence. I always wondered what they were for when I saw them headed out the gate. My buddy in the 25th Mech told me.

When I was stationed as the Guard Chief at NWS Seal Beach, Ca. There was a facility that belonged to the Navy Recruiting District. They made lots of stuff for the recruiters for thier offices. But they also made models of ships. They were about 20+ feet long and were mounted on trailers for parades. Thehad a battleship or two and were working on a carrier. They made us 40 resin Iwo Jima statues to use as centerpieces on tables for the final USMC Ball of the Barracks before we closed it and turned the base security over to the Navy.

I see the 4 pack of Winstons and I think I see a whole pack of Lucky Strikes. The PX usually had a pretty good selection. I smoked Old Gold but they did not come in C-rats.
