Couple "range loads"; 4.3 gr. WST or 4 gr. Titegroup with 124 gr JHP (or coated lead), standard SP primers, COAL is 1.145" with JHP and 1.150" with RN.
The Titegroup load with JHP's shoots 3/4" (tuned 1911) from the bench, the WST load is 1.25".

5.1/Winchester 231, 115 gr. Winchester FMJ hollow base, OAL: 1.160.

Excellent accuracy in Beretta 92FS, CZ85B, SIG228. No functioning failures.

Velocity from the Beretta's 5" barrel: 1140 fps.

4.0 Red dot and Berry's 124 flatpoint for plinking in everything.
5.7 of Silhouette with 124 grain Rem hollowpoint for general purposes.
5.7 of 4756 and 115 hollowpoint for Keltec pf9 "business load"

3.8 grains of WST, Bayou 147 FP, loaded to COAL of 1.13.

Same load works just as well with Extreme 147 RN

5.0 grains of WSF, 124 Zero JHP loaded to 1.125.

I have a few: 9 mm Luger
RCBS #09-115-RN, 115 grain cast truncated cone with RN,4.5 grs. Bullseye.
Lee #356-125-2R, 125 grain cast RN, 5.0 grs. Unique.
Lee #358-105-SWC, 105 grain cast semi-wadcutter, 4.6 grs. Red Dot.
I developed the 105 gr. load for a WWII P-38, lighter bullet, less recoil, shoots to point of aim in P-38 and cuts clean hole in target.
The 125 gr. RN load is for 9mm's that don't feed SWC bullet that well.
Both cast of air cooled wheel-weights and range lead (50/50) sized .357
Lots of data out there, what powder(s) can you get/do you have?

I've grown fond of the following lately.

115 grain Hornady HAP
7.8 grains Blue Dot
CCI Small Pistol primers

I don't know about a Shield, but they shoot great of my PX4 Storm Subcompact and pretty potent. One good thing about Blue Dot in 9 MM is that you physically can't put enough powder in the case to make a dangerously over pressured load with it and gives great velocity.

4.8 grains of WST, 124 grain plated pill (mostly Xtreme), O.A.L of 1.15", any SPP I have and mixed brass.
My Glocks and Berettas are very accurate with this load.
My son eats them like M&M's.

I like 4.0 grains of Bullseye or 5.0 grains of CFE Pistol under a Berry's 124 grain plated FP or THP with an OAL of 1.060".

Both are softer shooting loads (just over 1,000 FPS from a 3.9" barrel), accurate, and consistent.

5.2 grains 7625 under Win 115 hb @ 1.155 col. Very easy to substitute 5.8 to six grains of unique, or an adequate charge of hp-38/231.

This years load is:
147 grain lead truncated cone Falcon bullet
2.8 grains of 700x powder
CCI small pistol primer

This is not my favorite load since 700x meters for a **** but given the availability of pistol powder in my neck of the woods I am happy with it. No leading, clean shooting, low recoil and it makes idpa power factor.

I like Titegroup as well. I use 4 grains over a 124 grain bullet and adjust OAL to bullet profile and firearm. I range from 1.065 to 1.150 as a range. Very accurate, mild recoil and economical to shoot.

The Load I shoot the most in 9mm is:

5.2 gr BE-86 under a 125 gr SNS Coated LFN

This load chrongraphs at 1058.8 fps out of a Shield 3.1 inch barrel.

I use 4.0 gr's of Tite group with good results reduced recoil over new loads results in better accuracy at least for me

I don't shoot a Shield but 3.7gr W231 under a 147gr RN Berrys bullet is working well for me in my Glocks and Rugers. Maybe be a little light but it seems to be more accurate than I am.
