Cornell Publications - World's Largest Old Gun Catalog & Manual Reprinter

I found this link for 'Out of Print' reloading manuals. My interest was in Lyman 45th Edition Manual with its suggested "Most Accurate" data. I believe you can get a hard copy of any manual that was printed for a reasonable price.

I did a search to find any current thread on this forum about this subject and came up dry. Many threads on manuals, but nothing about getting copies of old manuals.

Cornell Publications has a lot of great reprints. But I wonder about reloading manuals......that's usually copyrighted material and I don't believe they can legally do that for things like the Lyman 45th Edition. I'm away from my reloading books, but wasn't that one around 1970?

I moved last September, and cannot find my 45th edition either along with several others. My fear is they went to Goodwill and were trashed! I have 46th and 49th and there is no comparison! The "Accuracy" loads are without compare and the feet per second for that barrel length are dead on! Let us know if you find a source. Ivan

Amazon is where you want to look: I'd still prefer investing in the latest manuals than old ones with bullets and powders no longer in production?

excellent! thanks Engineer

I have a 45th Edition and check it along with newer manuals.

Are there other known "good" books/manuals/catalogs with valuable information on the website that you think are worth buying?

Good info here from old Reloaders Guides: look at "old manuals" and "free manuals"
Old Manuals
Also a very good resource is the older IMR Reloaders Guide:
pdf.textfiles.com/manuals/FIREARMS/imr_reloading.pdf
Copy and paste the link above. Don't know how to make it hot?

the old Lyman manuals I have I found at gun shows. at first they were around $10 or so for one in decent condition. then the price starting to be in the $30 range. the last several gun shows that I have been to there wasn't any at all. I found Phil Sharpe's hardback loading manual for $50 at a gun show and if I would looked about 3 tables down I could have had a signed copy for $75. this is a very good manual to get.
