I have several calibers of brass that I use in my “saved searches” on Ammoseek and periodically check out some of the more unobtanium ones to see if anything pops up. Today .32-20 popped up and I ordered some from Diamond K. Powder Valley and Maverick Reloading also showed in stock. I’m not familiar with Maverick and PV was quite a bit more expensive than Diamond K, so I went with them. A little over $0.46 each with shipping, but hey…when you can get it, do it. Hopefully it will actually ship, unlike the Optics Planet debacle of last year.

OP, be aware that as of 1 minute ago the Starline site still says "Out of Stock, No Backorders"! lots of luck with your orders.:D:D

Read his post, he never made reference to the star line web site.

If Starline doesn't have any where are the retailers he mentioned going to get the brass!!!!!!!!!!!! He didn't mention brand either, but Remington and Winchester have not produced any .32-20 for quite awhile:mad::mad::mad:

Maybe next time you should just keep quiet!

It's difficult to imagine Powder Valley being "quite a bit more expensive" than anyone else. Usually (not always) their prices are hard to beat and their service is excellent.

PV showed as $0.11 more each. That’s pretty significant. And yes, it’s Starline.

I hadn’t just checked all three site he mentioned and seen that they did indeed have the 32-20 in stock before I made my post.
But hey you do you.

IMHO, the demand for 32-20 ammo and brass has remained sufficiently high for a long enough time, I’d bet a dollar to a jelly donut that Starline will run some fairly soon. They finally caught up on the other 32 cal pistol cases.
Note that “a dollar to a donut” used to be significant odds, now its about even money! ;)

Starline is indeed making and selling 32-20 brass. How would I know...? I just was sent 500 Starline 32-20 cases direct from them. They open up for backorders of 32-20 once in awhile... you just need to be vigilant and check their website every day. Make the backorder. Wait and they will send email when your order is ready. This is how places like PV get their orders for resale.

Could you please share current pricing from SL. Thanks

I received 200 from Midway on st Patrick’s day 2days after I placed my order. They were $29 a 100. Star line is making them but you have to be quick when you find them.

That's only $5 more for 50 brand new pieces of brass that I've been looking for for 2 years. PV showed them in stock so I ordered 50. I trust them. I've been buying from them for 10 years, and never a problem. Thanks for the heads up.

Diamond K came through for me. They gave me an order confirmation and charged my card last Sunday, then I had no updates until I called them this morning and said I never got tracking on the shipment. To tell you the truth, with the scarcity of .32 WCF brass, I was afraid their website could have been spoofed and I might have been scammed. I knew Diamond K is a reputable company, so call me paranoid, but I worried about bad actors subverting their website for nefarious gain. Anyway, Peter McWilliams Ops Mgr. for Diamond K emailed me a tracking number promptly and my brass was waiting for me at home when I returned from Houston this afternoon. Kudos to Diamond K…I just wish I had ordered a couple hundred more!

Just saw a price increase on Diamond K .32 WCF brass. When I bought it last Sunday, it was $76 per 200 pieces. Checking now, it’s $98 per 200 pieces…same price as Powder Valley!

Supply and demand…

That’s great the brass is being made again. Spent last 2 nites setting up the Dillon 550 for loading 32-20. Reddy to go, just need to add the primers. Having a single shot rifle, a run of 300 should be good for a while.

May need to get some just in case production stops again for some unknown reason. Been following this thread and finally the brass is being sold.

Is it Starline brass? Larry

Yes, it is Starline.

What gets me is the 30% price increase at Diamond K from when I ordered it on 4/07 to 4/12. 30% in 5 days! SMH…Makes me think twice about using them again.

I think the last dozen I got at Krispy Kreme cost right at $15.00, Jelly would have been more. Sinkers was a dime a piece when I was a pup.
