If anyone is interested, 10mm Mag brass is now available at Starline. I waited a year for my backorder, so if you want to play with that cartridge you should order some now.
BTW: Lengthening the chamber on my new 610 couldn't have been easier (by hand) with a 10mm Auto finish reamer from Brownells. They must know a lot of people are doing that, because the 10mm Auto reamer had a shoulder EXACTLY where I needed to stop for the correct 10mm Mag depth. It just took a couple afternoons and a bit of elbow grease. Now it shoots 40 S&W, 10mm Auto and 10mm Mag.
I won't say the 10mm Mag does anything better than any other cartridge - and honestly I carry and shoot .44 Mag's much more often - but I was always fascinated by the 10mm Mag and wanted to play with it. I've also found I can do all the loading with 10mm Auto dies.
It has been a fun project.
