White River Energetics LR primers
I bought 2000 of these a couple months back and I am finally trying them. They have all went bang and have given good accuracy in my CVA Scout 35 Whelen. I have also used them shooting cast bullets in a 45/70 with good accuracy.
Now the problems. In 35 Whelen new Hornady brass they were a very tight fit in the primer pockets. In the 45/70 with Starline brass the fit perfect but in other makes some were very snug especially W-W and Remington brass. All the 45/70 had been loaded multiple times.
From my limited experience so far I would not recommend them for one of the hand priming tools. Bench or press tools will work best.
Would I buy them again? Yes but only if CCI was not available or if they were significantly less expensive. I paid to much for those I have but wanted to give them a shot to try them and because they are made in my home state of Arkansas.
