A local pawn shop just got a .32 ND 1st Model blue with a 3 or 3.5" barrel. SN is 17xxx They haven't put a price on it yet.I was picking up another gun when the owner brought it out to show me. No box. All S/N match. It has not been refinished. The only thing I didn't check was the grips. I was thinking maybe $200. Should I be willing to go higher? Is that a fair price to offer? It is in very good shape. Maybe 90-95% of the blueing is till good. I am new to the ND (Antiques). I bought my 1st ND 2 weeks ago.

I just sold one with a broken rebound spring and firing pin (with full disclosure) for $150. Mine was 60xxx and dates to 1895, yours is older. Blue Book has a 50% premium for pre-1898, so $200 for a working specimen in the common barrel length should be nice. DO NOT DRY FIRE. Joe
Agree on the Do not dryfire. I have a 2nd and a3rd model, and I did dry fire the 3rd model just a few times, and of course the firing pin broke. I was fortunate enough to be able to locate a new one and spring which I installed. It takes some "fitting" to make it work correctly.
