For a model 36, no dash, Serial # 1384xx seems pretty close to the 125000 number given in the book (2nd edition) for 1957. Is this "proof" enough to make it legal to ship C&R? I am assuming that the serial numbers are sequential. THe book says 295000 was made in 1962. Maybe there is another reference that would nail it more exactly?
