Default Sources for Quality, Interesting Grips

Perhaps I'm just not looking in the correct corners of the interwebs, but who is making quality old-style n-frame service stocks in interesting woods these days?

I'm thinking quality woods like walnut or rosewood with some classy figure (not crazy figure you see in the cocobolo stuff), maybe birdseye maple, stuff like that. It seems like most of what I'm seeing advertised online in these woods is coing in the form of oversized target stocks or finger-groove boot grips.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those (apparently rare) people who actually find that the service stocks on my 1917 fit me perfectly, make the gun point like an extension of my finger, and help the gun disappear under an untucked dress shirt; they work even better than the Magna grips on my newer guns, and far better than any oversized grips I've tried.

Thanks in advance for the input and suggestions!

Keith Brown does fantastic work restoring old grips, making his own
style of Roper and other grips, etc. He will make whatever you want -
generally speaking.

The thing about older grips is that they are small. The larger target
stocks give better gun control.

I also thought immediately of Keith Brown. Here's his web site:

I had the pleasure of running into Keith at the gunshow today. Twice, really. The first cycle we BS'd and blocked the aisles for a half hour. The second time at DanT's table. He has good ideas. And he'll make what you want. Don Collins was also brought up in the conversation. They're not really competitors. Don uses all kinds of exotic materials, including elephant ivory. Keith uses walnut, you specify the grain or kind you want. Keith then checkers it. Don doesn't.

Thanks for the suggestions. Those guys look like they could definitely set me up with what I'm looking for.

Now to figure out what grip material would look best on a LNIB 1923 Colt Police Positive Special...
