Stag Grips -Sources
I'm interested in some stag grips for a K frame stainless gun. I think the look especially good on a stainless gun. Anyone know of the best places to shop for some?

I highly recommend Grashorn Gunworks. Patrick is a member of this forum under the name Executioner. I have two sets of his grips and the workmanship is outstanding, the prices are reasonable, and you can get them to whatever specifications you desire. I don't think you need to look any place else.

I couldn't agree more! Patrick is a true craftsman and gentleman, and his work is second to none. You can choose the amount of bark you desire, the thickness of the grips, medallions or not, and Patrick will e-mail pictures for you're ok before shipping.
One word of caution. Once you get a set, it's almost impossible to resist ordering another...and another...

Definitely use Patrick. I have bought three or four sets of grips from him, and every one was exactly what I wanted and perfectly fitted. You can specify how much bark you want on the grips, which was important to me. You won't be disappointed with Patrick's work.

Patrick Grashorn/Executioner's grips are outstandingly beautiful and fit as if they are custom made, which they are. He is also a gentleman who stands behind his work.

If you can't find Sambar Stag and settle for Elk Antler, no one's work compares to Ken Driscol (see a post or two up.) Of course that's just my opinion based on my experience and purchases of "wanna-be" Stag grips.

Patrick Grashorn gets my vote. Here is what his stags look like on my pre-14 K-38 shooter. I'm happy.
