What Vintage is this Screwdriver and Value?

This is one of those "I can't believe it" finds. I was in a pawn shop the other day and as I walked by the end of the counter, I saw behind the counter, a magnetic strip holding with tools on it. I saw this little S&W screwdriver. I knew it was an older one and asked the guy there if he would sell it. No, but picked it up and said "here you can have it".

So Wow I had the find of a life time! Well maybe not, but can anyone tell me the vintage of this S&W screwdriver and what it is worth?

It looks to be a mid to late 1950's aluminium "8-row" knurled SAT. They routinely sell for $75-$120 on eBay. I would expect that the crud could be cleaned out of the handle and it would sell for somewhere in the $90 range.
