Richard, love the gun! Thanks for sharing.
I'm keen on diamond targets and diamond magnas. I love presentation stocks, too. Ivory and MOP can be pretty cool, as well. I might even like carbon fiber, if I ever saw it, on a K-frame. Even Trausch grips have a certain flair. Sorry, I can't pick just one.
Here are some CM's and various grips:
1958 M18 and 1977 M18-3
Same M18 and M66
M19-4 wearing ivory
An M19-5 snubby decided to tag along for a range trip
1966 M15-2 wearing incorrect non-relieved targets. Their wear matches the gun perfectly.
I, too, try to keep the gun with the grips it came with. The only exception, to this, among the above, is the 66ND. It was a pawn shop find, and came with N-frame rosewood presentation stocks, that I replaced with walnut targets, having the appropriate amount of wear.

The K-22 is one of my favorites as well...
I find them at gun shows, at the SWCA Symposiums, in auctions, both on-line (e.g. GunBroker) and live (e.g. Rock Island), from fellow collectors, and from the classifieds here on the forum. But then again, I look for them all the time.
Good luck in your hunt for that perfect Outdoorsman... A few detail photos of one of my favorites :

My "shooter" 18 and 17 wear Grashorn stag grips and a t-grip.
If I could only have one .22 revolver it would be a 4" K-frame Model 18.....
the J-frame Kit guns are great but the K-frames have a better trigger IMHO!

Richard,
After a bath and a trip to the beauty salon that CM looks wonderful. Trying on all those "outfits" I have to believe she will speak to you again about her personal favorite. Congratulations and I have to believe you are getting close to having to add an addition to your gun room.
Best regards,
Jake

I found this beautiful Outdoorsman a few months ago on probably the most popular auction site, not sure rules about mentioning it here, but you would know it on your first guess. I looked for a few months and finally found one in terrific shape for what I thought was a fair price. Looked at the seller's history, and he looked legit, so I sent him the money and crossed my fingers. Couldn't be happier with my purchase.
Can't seem to get pics to post, but here is a thread I started full of pics-
My new Outdoorsman
