I know these can be found easily enough on the internet, but thought it’d be fun just the same to post a few entries from an old Stoeger catalog that my gun club had lying around. Unfortunately the cover was torn-off so I couldn’t see a date, but I’d guess about 1950 or ‘51.

Those prices look appealing by todays standards, but it wasn't the same money back then...
$70 in 1950 was close to a weeks pay for many. Gold was about $40/oz and you could buy a new car for under $2K.

I have a model 53 that was sold to Stoeger and delivered to Sportsman's Den in Bridgeport, CT on March 5, 1962, a few years after your publication. Thanks for posting those pages.

Note that the .38 Chiefs Special can be fired with any .38 special commercial cartridge, including the High Velocity load.
I have one of the old Stoeger catalog too.

My 17 no dash was shipped there on october 1958 per Mr. Jinks letter. However I haven´t the faintest idea of who bought it or when.
