Default Bomar rib 14-3

I've got an opportunity to pick up a 14-3 in great shape for $400. Only thing I'm hesitating for is it was used in ppc and got a bomar rib on top of the origional barrel. Are those drilled and tapped or would it be easy enough to put original sights back on ?

There will be two mounting holes drilled and tapped in the top of the barrel. The front sight and base will be gone, so you will have to locate another, or replace the barrel.

YOU HAVEN'T BOUGHT IT YET? 14's in stock form, are awesome. I have a 14-3. Bought last month a 10-6 PPC gun with an Aristocrat rib. 8&3/8" barrel. It has only been to the range once so far. So cool in my book. PPC gun is plenty of fun at the range. I personally would jump on it. Let us know what happens! Bob
