While at the local gun store dropping off my python to the gunsmith to get timing adjusted I see a model 17 and a model 57 in the consignment case. As the gunsmith and I start talking I about the colt I ask him the the two smith's he tells me checked then out when they came in and the tags are correct they are 200 a piece. I'm thinking damn that's a steal but I just spent over 1000 on 2 guns last week. So I give him the colt and start walking out and the other salesman says are you just going to leave them just like that at that price. I told him I can't afford it so I guess so he replies make me anow offer so I say 350 he says sold. So I bought a model 17 and a 57 for 350. Both in good shooter grade condition. Was that a good deal or not ?

If that really happened, hurry back and retrieve your python, anyone crazy enough to sell both a 17 and 57 for $350, well I wouldn't trust them working on my gun, congratulations on the best deal I've heard in a long time

I'm not going to say that you got extremely lucky, but with what I've seen on Gunborker sales the last couple of months, you just got a $1,000+ worth of guns for $350.
