Model 10-5 manufacturer date
S/N - D297133
Just purchased and can't wait to start shooting this classic 38. From what I understand these are great shooting guns. Thanks in advance for information on the year of manufacture.

Way to go on the 10-5!!!
I came across one today myself and could not resist bringing it home.
Not really into nickel finish, but oh well......love the 2" and round butt and of course the box/papers/tools were an added bonus. This one is a later production, S/N D9028XX

Yes, from about 1977. A very nice acquisition!!! That one would have tempted me beyond help.

Thanks guys, these two nickel guns will mostly likely be going up for sale on this forum or possibly on GB soon. I am not into the nickel finish, but they are pretty to look at!

I just pick up a Model 10-5. A 5" barrel which is the first 5" barrel I have ever shot. I am going to like it. I bet you will like yours as well. Mine is a 1971 with a D366xxx.

I have several early model 10's with 4, 5 and 6" barrels and yes, they are a hoot to shoot!
