Thanks guys - anybody else ? I knew they were increasing in value. Looking for a range of values. Should the cylinder and frame be marked with an N ? The only one I could find on g broker sold at 949, so sounds right. Gonna have to take a look. Another one may join the herd.

ENABLER!
Oh, by the way, I think it would be a good idea if you went and bought that RIGHT NOW!

To be serious for a moment:
1.The $1000 price seems reasonable, if the revolver is in like new condition with presentation case, based upon a review of recent sales and reviewing the value cited in the SCSW 4th edition.
2. The back of the cylinder should have a N stamped on it and the left side of the grip frame (same side of frame as the thumb latch) should have a N stamped on it.

Heading out to take a look at it this afternoon. Will post up pics if I get it.
The guy lives about 45 minutes away and we couldn't sync up with the holiday.

I wouldn't think twice about it,if the nickel truly was 100%.
Nickel blems take down value more than blue blems in my book.

These are climbing up in value. For $1,000 grab it. That's a $200 case right? I paid $795 for a 6"-357-m27-2 in nickel @100% condition about 7 years ago. No case. Make the investment in nickel guns for sure.
There around $1,200 to $1,500 on some sites.

If you spend some time looking on sites like guns international and armslist you will see well over a dozen N prefix 6" 27-2 nickel guns in the presentation box listed as 98% -to LNIB ranging from $ 1,200- up to around $ 1,600.

27-2 4" N serial
A few weeks ago I was in a large box store. They were having a 10% off sale on all used guns. I purchased this beauty for $729.11 out the door. Sometimes they know not what they have.
