It is a fitter stamp. Will also be on the left side of the grip frame.

Is this stamp on the frame, or on the arm of the yoke? It sounds like a production stamp. Is there a similar stamp on the side of the butt frame (could be either side, near the bottom)? These numbers are used to keep fitted parts together on the assembly lines. It could also be an inspector's stamp.

They are internal S&W marks so they likely knew whose stamp it was, back when it was assembled.

It makes sense that the builder of the PPC revolver would put their stamp on it too but E19 sounds pretty standard for a S&W fitter stamp, especially since it is also on the grip frame. There should be one or two more similar stamps (letter and number) on the left side and depending on when in the -3 change it was made, two shapes with number/letter on the right side.
Are there any other stamps not like these on the revolver that could be the PPC builder's mark?
(this on has A LOT of fitter stamps)

All the PPC guns I have seen were marked on the barrel by the maker and not hidden in an obscure location. I vote for fitter or assembly mark.
