IMHO if you were to own only one vintage S&W Revolver, it should be a M15 Combat Masterpiece!! Good job, looks great - shoot it well!

That is one beautiful model 15! Combat masterpieces are an addiction of mine. I currently have a pre-15, 15-3 and 15-4 in blue 4", a nickel 15-3 4", 15-4 2" blue, 67-1 (stainless 15), 18-3 (22) and a 48-2 in 4" that is a combat masterpiece in 22 mag. You can never have too many combat masterpieces!

What a beauty. I love them and have several. Nice find.

If I were to buy another 4" K frame, it would probably be a Model 19 or 66. OTOH, I would probably just shoot 38 Spls through it, so other than the ejector rod shroud...

The fact of the matter is, the Model 15 is likely to be just as nice as its longer barreled sibling the Model 14, and for most of us just as accurate to shoot. Just before prices on S&Ws skyrocketed starting about 10 years or so ago, I could pick up nice Model 15s and 67sfor under $400. Those days are gone forever. :(
