My buddy's widow is selling off his firearms. One is his mint Model 37 2 inch bbl (nominal, I know). It's nickel with a square butt and in mint condition (his old off duty gun). A friend and former coworker is interested. They approached me for a valuation that is fair to both . Some ammo is included. I thought $400 would be fair for both parties. Am I in the ballpark?

A high condition square butt 2" no-dash in nickel should be worth more...I would think adding a couple of C-notes would be appropriate...At least in my neck of the woods...
