Since there is a lot of interest in "fancy stocks", I thought I would post pictures of some of my stocks that have been carved by some well known engravers. The first three sets are by Alvin White (the first pair dates to 1956, the second pair of 1958, and the third most likely to 1959); the fourth set was carved by Kurt Jaeger in 1960 and the fifth set was carved by Russ Smith in 1965.

beautiful, but how do you pick the gun up? i wouldn't want anybody touching them.

I think I've seen that first gun, in an S&W factory display. Nice work on all, of course.

Hey Doc44, Are you really Roy Jinks??????
How many hours do you look for such things that make us replace our key boards or wear a bib when we see your posts!!!
Peter.

Beautiful.....Did you ever notice when Doc44 posts we all listen and watch...Thanks for sharing.

Every time I open one of Doc's threads my third reaction is justification for higher education. My second reaction is picking my jaw up off the floor.

Doc, your posts and pictures never fail to amaze me, so beautiful.
Steve
