BER & BES SN starts, when manuf?
I have two 617's, one with a BES and another with a BER serial number prefix.
I have all three SCSW editions and have been unable to find an approximate year of manufacture.
Any help out there?
Thanks!!

I would say Jan. or Feb. 1990. The way they do serial numbers now is so confusing. S&W needs to hire a 5th grader to find a better way. Don

Thanks much guys......where did you find that info? SCSW, or elsewhere?
