3" Model 13...non P&R...goin' price?

I know where there is a 13-4 3-inch barrel in excellent condition for around $400 if I recall. If I had the money it would have been mine.

I've got to find my SCSWIII. I'm not sure what all the engineering changes were on the Model 13.

I know that the 13-1 is P&R. This 13-3 is not...but it doesn't have MIM or lock. Now I'm wondering what they changed to make the -4?

Do they still make an M13? If not, what was the last one?

Anybody know the time-frame for the -3?

The -4 (1988) had internal lockwork and other detail changes. The -3 started in 1982, and the SCSW states a few -5s were made ending in 1998.

According to the SW Catalog the 3-inch barrel was discontinued in 1997, prior to MIM. This 13-4 I was looking at certainly has no MIM parts.
